Cultural Highlights and Other Activities for 2026

Celebration of America's 250th Anniversary

The Cultural Synergy Foundation (CSF) officials, Basia Wojcik-Betancourt, Vice-Artistic Director and President, and Ernest Betancourt, Artistic Director and Vice- president, participated in the Spring of 2026, in Washington DC, their hometown for over 40 years, in the various celebrations of America's 250 years of freedom. Good sites for exploring this momentous period are America 250 and the Freedom 250 - The White House. Parades on the 4th of July were spectacular as were the storm interrupted fireworks which somehow managed to conclude a historic day with a befitting display of pyrotechnics.

Ocala Equestrian Events in the Chinese Calendar Year of the Horse

Visits to Ocala were mandatory in the year of the Fire Horse (occurs every 60 years) and the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Florida never disappoints. We attended Dressage and Jumping competitions in this perfect venue for equestrian events. We also visited farms and stables nearby run by friends who are very active in the community.
