The Cultural Synergy Foundation (CSF) officials, Basia Wojcik-Betancourt, Vice-Artistic Director and President, and Ernest Betancourt, Artistic Director and Vice- president; visited Poland in the Spring of 2025, Highlights of the visit included exploration of Warsaw's cultural treasures including a must see visit to the Marie Curie Museum in her hometown and a 3 night Festival of Wieniawski's music in Szczawno-Zdroj. Two Polish icons that brought about cultural changes to the societies of their time.
In October CSF contributed to the sponsorship of IBERICON Iberian Horse Showcase in Ocala, Florida at the World Equestrian Center. Dressage competitions and workshops were held in parallel with workshops on Equine Therapy. The weekend provided evening performances of the Iberian Horse Spectacular which displayed the talents of the various presenters, which included disabled veterans, volunteer novice and experienced equestrians, and professionals, in a wonderful show of equestrian skills.
Our Visit to Historic Saint Augustine, Florida
First explored and claimed for the Spanish Crown by Ponce de Leon (Fountain of Youth fame) in 1513 and finally founded and settled by Pedro Menendez in 1565, this is the first Spanish settlement in what would become the United States. Exploring the various historic sites of San Agustin takes you on a fascinating journey into the past. Exhibits show the way the first settlers integrated with the the local indigenous Timucua tribe and brought European culture to "La Florida".
